7 a side "beer match" between PSCC members and 3 extra guests who joined us at the last minute.

Paul Goodchild admitted to having "Tim's 206* in my sights" after amazingly ending up his side's top scorer in Saturday's 7-a-side "PSCC beer match" following Ashford CC's withdrawal from the fixture.
Goody, promoted to no.7 for the first time in his career, defied the odds and logic by hooking, driving and downright bludgeoning his way to a stylish 19 in his side's defeat on saturday. The innings featured several textbook cover drives that suggest Goody maybe pushing for a "more active role" in the batting line-up in the style of a Flintoff type-figure.
Despite his brave efforts, Goody couldn't save his team from defeat as Chris Dale's fine all-round effort clinched a result for Reece Raven's side vs Mark Townsend's 7.
