Hi Everyone,

Yet another season races by, drawing to a close this weekend with a final fixture away against Hawridge & Cholesbury for The Colin Parry Trophy on Sunday September 24th.

Amazingly, this summer marks 20 years since Colin's sudden passing. A true gentleman on and off the pitch, he was also our larger-than-life lead singer in the bar after games, with an almost encyclopedic knowledge of song. He remains greatly missed by all who knew him.

Though I'm sure no extra incentive is needed, the knowledge that a win on Sunday would mean a clean sweep of all possible trophies in 2023 for PSCC, following an historic away win against Briton Ferry at the weekend, is not to be overlooked.

With the stunning new net facility now in place up at Penn Street, as a committee we've now turned our thoughts to fundraising initiatives. We of course have our Quiz Night on Saturday October 7th which I'd encourage everyone to attend, but I also wanted to introduce another club fundraiser we've been working on over the last few weeks:

Following our Club Reunion for President's Day back in June, Richard O'Hagan, our Secretary and Cricket Writer sent me a match report he'd prepared as usual. It was such an enjoyable read, reviving many great memories from the day so vividly, I thought it was a shame not to do something more with it. When Cally Sutherland then sent over her amazing collection of photos from the day, we came up with the idea of a 'Digital Pack' celebrating the day. This consists of a 10 page eBook designed using Richard's words and 50 of Cally's images featuring everyone who played and more, plus some extras - a 'Wisden-style' scorecard of the match and also a selection of group images for people to print themselves.

Attached is a PDF preview, outlining the contents of the pack. We've tried to offer this at a reasonable price that hopefully everyone sees as good value for money.
