Penn Street Cricket Club - Juniors

The Squirrels - Penn Street CC Junior Section

The first training session will commence on Wednesday, 24th April, between 6:15 pm to 7:30 pm opposite The Squirrel Pub in Penn St. until 17th July - there will be no session on 29th May for half term.

This season we are arranging home & away matches vs Holmer Green, High Wycombe and Winchmore Hill – dates tbc.

Courtesy of Ian Jones, our friend and ex President, we have the opportunity to take the Juniors to Lords this year, watch a game and explore the ground.  This will be an amazing (WOW) experience and more details will be shared in the coming weeks.

Costs for the 2024 season are as follows;

£45 per player for one player in immediate family

£35 per player for two players (or more) in immediate family

Steve Smith, Matt Reavey and Asif Teja will be leading the way, supported by a number of other senior players from Penn Street CC.  Most of the coaches have ECB coaching qualifications and all have completed the relevant safeguarding DBS requirements.

Jane Fryer is the qualified welfare officer, policies available upon request in line with ECB best practice guidelines and our legal obligations under The Children's Act 1989 (reviewed 2004).
