President's Day

Hi Everyone,

I hope you're all enjoying the great start to the summer we've had.

Now we're into June already, I'd like to invite you and your families along to President’s Day on Saturday June 28th up at Penn Street.

‘The President’s Wanderers’ which includes friends from such clubs as Soho Collective, Old Citizens, Winchmore Hill and some even more familiar faces from closer to home, will come together to try to win The President’s Trophy back from a Penn Street side who claimed it in 2023. They'll face a current PSCC XI, in a 40 over match starting at 1pm on the common.

Below is a flyer with a summary of the key details and also a teamsheet revealing the squad of 12 players appearing for ‘The President’s Wanderers’.

There’ll be a break between innings for teas in the village hall and after the game a short presentation, following which stone-baked pizzas will be available from The Squirrel barn.

Live music will also feature throughout the 2nd innings, courtesy of our own Emily Hewlett, who’ll be performing in the front garden of The Squirrel.

We’ll be kicking off our summer of fundraising in support of ‘Opening Up Cricket’ by raising awareness and funds on the day.

I hope very much you and your families will be able to join us for what promises to be a really fun day full of cricket, music and laughs, amongst good friends.
