Welcome to the new Penn Street Cricket Club website...

PENN STREET CRICKET CLUB is a small and very friendly club that plays its cricket the way it should be played and within the spirit of the game. We are competitive and have a strong desire to win but not at any cost.

We play both on Saturdays and Sundays as well as a few evening games throughout the summer, not forgetting our annual Boxing Day game with the rest of the village!!

We have been established now for over 100 years although during World War II cricket wasn't played due to an army camp being placed on the playing area. Speaking from experience it appears not to have had a detrimental effect on, what is arguably one of the best batting tracks around!

We have over 45 current playing members which allows us to field sides of all abilities, ages, shapes and sizes!! We play over 50 fixtures annually with local sides as well as our good friends in Worcestershire, whom we have visited every year now for the last 30 years.

We also have an excellent junior sector within the club with an age range from 6 years up to under 15s.

As a club we are also very lucky to have such fantastic neighbours and a very understanding landlord who allows us full use of the facilities at the Squirrel.

If you have any questions regarding playing or spectating please email us at pscc@pennstreetvillage.co.uk initially or why not come down when we are playing and we will be happy to have a chat over a social pint or two.
